Association of Iranian Physicists in Medicine (AIPM)
The 2026 annual meeting of AIPM took place on Tuesday, July 20 in Vancouver BC. The meeting included the presentation of the 2026 AIPM award of excellence to Dr. Parandoush Abbasian, who presented her research to participants. A recording of her presentation can be found in the Members' Area under Scientific Sessions tab. It was a great meeting with discussion regarding the role of the AIPM, the new website, a call for members to pay their dues, and an inspiring finale by Dr. Ehsan Samei.

During the meeting We also discussed reaching out to the community for attracting sponsors, and how to better serve our members.
Dr. Sarfehnia presented the award to our 2026 winner!
And finally, Dr. Alaei presented the 2023 plaque to the winner of that year, Dr. Fatameh Akbari who was unable to attend the AIPM meeting in person until this year.
