Association of Iranian Physicists in Medicine (AIPM)
The 2025 annual meeting of AIPM took place on Tuesday, July 29 in Washington DC. The meeting included the presentation of the 2025 AIPM award of excellence to Dr. Elahheh Salari, who presented her research to participants. It was a great meeting with discussion regarding how to expand the role of AIPM, and proposals to hold scientific webinars that are hosted by the AIPM.

During the meeting we had very nice discussion on the role of the AIPM going forward. In the picture below, Dr. Meigooni is presenting his thoughts on how to expand the reach of the AIPM, how to help our medical physicist colleagues inside Iran, and how to perhaps hold scientific sessions hosted by the AIPM that our Iranian medical physics colleagues from around the world can tune in.
And finally, Dr. Alaei presented the award to our winner!
